About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential gaming organization seeking a Senior 2D Artist to join their European operations. This role offers the chance to create compelling visual experiences for digital gaming products while working with a collaborative creative team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and market research to inform new project development
- Design game symbols, character artwork, and promotional assets that meet commercial standards
- Iterate on artwork based on feedback from creative directors and project stakeholders
- Prepare 2D assets for animation pipelines, ensuring technical readiness for motion design
- Participate actively in the studio's art community, sharing techniques and creative approaches
- Apply product-focused thinking to visual work, connecting design decisions to business outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience as a 2D Artist in the slots or gaming industry
- Expert-level proficiency in Photoshop and raster graphics applications; 3D software experience is a bonus
- Strong command of colour theory, composition, lighting, anatomy, and multiple art styles
- Classical art education is valued as it provides foundational expertise in core visual principles
- Senior-level ownership mindset: you bring solutions, not just execution
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage in constructive critique and candid discussion
- Collaborative approach to giving and receiving feedback in a transparent team environment
- Product-oriented thinking that translates domain expertise into strong commercial outcomes
