Role Overview

We're recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our Codsall establishment for a part-time role. In this position, you'll work as part of a dedicated kitchen team, helping to prepare ingredients, maintain our high standards of cleanliness, and ensure every dish meets Greene King's quality expectations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment whilst supporting an experienced kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Wash, peel, and prepare ingredients as directed by the head chef
• Keep work stations organised and safe during service
• Handle washing up and keep kitchen equipment clean and ready for use
• Rotate stock and follow proper food storage and rotation procedures
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food safety standards
