Technical Curriculum Developer

Freshworks is seeking a Technical Curriculum Developer to join our team in Boston, MA, US on a remote, full-time basis. In this role, you'll design and develop engaging technical training materials and educational content that empower users to master our products and achieve their goals.

Role Overview

As a Technical Curriculum Developer at Freshworks, you'll create compelling learning experiences that translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable training content. You'll work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and customer success professionals to develop materials that drive user adoption, proficiency, and satisfaction with our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive technical curriculum materials including documentation, video scripts, interactive modules, guides, and hands-on tutorials
• Conduct needs assessments and learning requirement analysis to identify training objectives and close knowledge gaps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and customer success to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product capabilities
• Create and maintain training content across multiple formats and delivery platforms tailored to diverse learning styles
• Develop assessment tools, evaluation rubrics, and measurement frameworks to track learning outcomes and training effectiveness
• Maintain and update curriculum materials as products evolve, ensuring training content remains current and accurate
• Gather and incorporate user feedback and performance analytics to continuously improve training programs

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience developing technical curriculum, training programs, or educational content for software products
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging language
• Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training best practices
• Experience with learning management systems, content authoring tools, and multimedia creation platforms
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team environment
• Technical background sufficient to understand software features, technical workflows, and user use cases
