About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential behavioral health organization seeking a Remote BCBA - Bilingual/Spanish Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join their team. This role focuses primarily on functional behavior assessments (FBAs) in a remote setting, serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our client uses evidence-based, positive programming and non-aversive strategies to support children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and related conditions. Sessions are conducted in various settings including residential homes, schools, family homes, and community locations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing assessments to meet patient needs
  • Communicate with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding individual progress
  • Provide monthly schedules of appointments, home visits, and observations to supervisors
  • Coordinate home, work, and community-based visits for observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis
  • Ensure Behavior Intervention Plans are implemented effectively and properly
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required
  • Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes
  • Organize training to certify staff and team members in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and documentation
  • Provide follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support
  • Maintain strong clinical records ensuring information is readily available
  • Act as liaison with the public and mental health community
  • Assist in creating procedures and training materials to improve programs
  • Complete continuing education on behaviorally based interventions and techniques

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
  • Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
  • Available to work until 8:00pm PST
  • Reliable transportation for occasional in-person visits
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and moving from seated to standing regularly

State-Specific Requirements:

  • California: Must be a BCBA or BCaBA
  • Illinois: BCBA, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, BCaBA, or bachelor's degree with 1500 hours of supervised experience
  • Indiana: Master's degree in a human-related field
  • Kentucky: Master's degree in a human-related field and 2 years of experience
  • Georgia: Master's degree in psychology, special education, counseling, social work, or related field OR relevant licensure with 2+ years providing positive behavioral supports and documented ABA coursework
  • Virginia: BCBA, BCaBA, Licensed Psychologist, PBSF, LPC, LSW, or LCSW with ABA training and experience
  • Texas: Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, LCSW, LPC, or BCBA
