Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential communications technology organization seeking an NCS System Integration specialist in Munich. In this role, you will configure, test, and deploy complex naval communication systems for both internal testing purposes and client projects.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Integrating product deliveries from various units into a comprehensive system
- Automating tests, conducting fault analyses, and delivering clear feedback to suppliers
- Playing a key role in establishing and maintaining test systems
- Configuring and testing complex naval communication systems using specialized configuration tools
- Installing and integrating NCS systems on test and client installations
- Recording and analyzing log files for system optimization
- Troubleshooting on test systems and managing defect handling in Jira
- Coordinating with development teams on issue resolution
- Building and maintaining the Munich-based test system infrastructure
- Automating test system processes
What We're Looking For
- Strong capability and persistence in conducting thorough fault analysis with meaningful feedback to development teams
- RPM Package Management System expertise
- Linux and Windows administration knowledge
- CI/CD experience and automation skills (GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Python)
- Foundational knowledge in IP network technology
- Hands-on experience working with servers and network switches
- Basic German and English language skills; fluency in at least one is required
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
