About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading global travel technology organization seeking a Senior Manager, Product Planning - Hotel Content to join their team remotely from the UK or broader Europe. Our client operates at the intersection of business travel and enterprise technology, serving organizations worldwide with sophisticated booking and content management platforms.

This senior role will oversee the integration, management, and optimization of hotel content across the platform. You'll modernize Hotel APIs, enhance shopping and booking experiences, and manage the complete lifecycle of product investments from proof of concept through implementation. The position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise in hotel distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and management of Hotel APIs, ensuring content is properly structured, normalized, and distributed across Point of Sale channels
• Drive API modernization projects to enhance platform capabilities and performance
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps for hotel content solutions, delivering globally with clear go-to-market strategies
• Analyze hotel workflows, systems, and processes to identify optimization opportunities
• Identify and implement new features based on customer feedback, market demand, and business priorities
• Create comprehensive business cases for product investments, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, and strategic alignment
• Ensure assigned products have sound business plans covering profitability, sales success, and pricing strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, fostering collaborative partnerships
• Continuously analyze content performance and recommend strategies to improve shopping and booking capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Deep knowledge of the hotel industry, including key players, market trends, and consumer behavior
• Strong technical understanding of APIs and hotel booking systems, particularly Sabre and Amadeus GDS platforms
• Experience with GDS integration and how booking systems connect with distribution platforms
• Background in business travel and/or travel management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage stakeholders across different backgrounds and levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative software for remote team coordination
• Strong data analytical capabilities and user experience-focused mindset
• Proven ability to manage product lifecycles and influence both internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution skills
