Creative Director Copy (d/w/m) | Automotive

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive agency seeking a Creative Director Copy to lead text-based creative development for major automotive campaigns. In this role, you will:

• Develop, produce, and execute creative concepts and copy strategies for automotive campaigns across multiple channels and formats
• Create overarching creative ideas and translate them into compelling communication across various touchpoints
• Present concepts and ideas to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity
• Lead a copywriting team, ensuring consistently high creative quality and mentoring team members in their professional development
• Collaborate closely with strategy, art direction, account management, and production teams
• Develop and evolve brand ideas while maintaining brand strategy, tonality, and guidelines
• Drive innovation by monitoring current trends and translating them into relevant creative opportunities for the brand
• Oversee production processes, ideally including international productions

What We're Looking For

• A compelling portfolio demonstrating your creative writing, concepting, and campaign abilities
• Excellent command of language, tonality, and cultural relevance
• Experience as a Creative Director Copy or several years as a Senior Copywriter in an advertising or creative agency
• Strategic and conceptual expertise with the ability to develop distinctive creative ideas from brand strategies
• Proven experience in storytelling and brand platform development
• Strong production knowledge, ideally with international production experience
• Confident presentation skills and experience in direct client contact
• Team spirit, social competence, and strong communication skills across disciplines
• Native-level German fluency and very good written and spoken English
