About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential medical technology organization based in Erlangen that develops high-quality software for the healthcare industry. Our client is seeking a student intern or working student (Praktikant/Werkstudent) to join their prototyping and future technologies team.
This role offers hands-on experience with emerging technologies in a supportive environment where you'll contribute to real-world projects that impact medical device software development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technological research on emerging tools and methodologies
- Build prototypes and develop proof-of-concept implementations
- Participate in creative ideation sessions for new technical solutions
- Document findings, processes, and technical implementations
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at a university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Medical Technology, or a comparable field
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or similar languages
- Initial experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Chatbots and knowledge management using AI/LLMs
- Container management and microservices
- CI/CD pipelines
- Prior involvement in larger software projects (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work independently
- Excellent German language proficiency (C2 level required)
- Available to start immediately for 15-20 hours per week as a working student, or for a minimum three-month master's-level internship
