Senior Manager of AI Practice, Claude Corps

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential education technology organization in a search for a Senior Manager of AI Practice to lead mentor teams within a large-scale AI fellowship program. This is a remote, full-time W2 position based in the United States, with a start date of September 21st.

Our client partners with leading technology companies to deliver AI training at scale. This role sits at the heart of a national fellowship initiative designed to place AI-trained professionals across nonprofit organizations nationwide. You will manage the delivery layer of the program—owning whether learning actually happens across mentor teams and their fellows.

Responsibilities

You will manage a team of approximately ten mentors at full scale, overseeing delivery outcomes for roughly 200 fellows. Your core responsibilities include:

• Hire, onboard, coach, and maintain quality standards for a mentor team responsible for guiding fellows through AI curriculum
• Run the operating cadence for your team: weekly syncs, one-on-ones, and escalation protocols when mentors or fellows need support
• Own delivery outcomes for your portfolio—whether instruction lands and fellows are learning, measured pod by pod and mentor by mentor
• Lead agenda-based instructional sessions for your entire portfolio, deciding when to teach live to the full group versus delegating to mentors within their pods
• Monitor milestone reviews across fellows and intervene when work is at risk
• Replace manual tracking processes with scalable delivery systems that maintain quality as the program grows from 100 to 1,000 fellows
• Partner with curriculum teams to turn field observations into actionable curriculum improvements
• Ensure mentors and fellows use the learning platform as designed and surface patterns that inform program evolution
• Maintain a delivery dashboard that provides real-time visibility into portfolio health

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of technical program management, engineering management, or similar program management experience leading cross-functional teams to measurable outcomes
• Direct people management experience with demonstrable examples of raising team performance, ideally with technical or coaching staff
• Ability to lead live sessions and hold a room while teaching to groups
• Track record of owning delivery or operations outcomes at volume, personally accountable for quality
• Experience replacing manual processes with systems that scale
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to articulate how they changed your workflow
• Strong written communication skills for feedback, roll-ups, escalations, and change requests in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Comfort with remote work across US time zones and approximately two evenings per month for cohort sessions and milestone reviews

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing coaches, instructors, or managers in bootcamp, fellowship, residency, or cohort-based programs
• History of scaling delivery teams through rapid growth while maintaining quality
• Familiarity with platform- or LMS-delivered learning models and using delivery data to identify risk early

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $130,000 to $148,000 USD annually. Our client uses standardized salary bands based on role level and evaluates compensation based on relevant experience and skills assessed during the interview process.
