Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in the Düsseldorf area that is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with deep ERP expertise. In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between IT and business operations, translating complex requirements into actionable technology solutions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Acting as the interface between IT and functional departments, analyzing existing processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into clear, future-ready IT concepts
- Managing IT projects end-to-end, from initial planning and specification through testing to successful rollout
- Supporting the optimization, enhancement, and migration of international ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite, IFS, or SAP)
- Identifying improvement opportunities in manufacturing-adjacent environments, including production processes, work preparation, and system controls, and developing practical solutions with cross-functional teams
- Ensuring compliance with SOX, GDPR, and international regulatory requirements throughout all project phases
What We're Looking For
Our talent team is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Degree in Business Information Systems, IT, or comparable qualification (formal degree not mandatory), plus at least 3 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of complex ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite, IFS, or SAP) and digital business processes, ideally within manufacturing and supply chain environments
- Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and excellent communication skills with the ability to understand complex contexts quickly and develop intelligent solutions
- Passion for agile methodologies, modern technologies, and digital trends
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (mandatory)
- SQL knowledge and initial experience with AI technologies are valuable additions
