Manager, Security Operations Center – EMEA

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization that operates a global Security Operations Center protecting millions of endpoints worldwide. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Manager to lead SOC operations across the EMEA region.

This is a fully remote position based in Ireland, reporting to the Director of Security Operations Center. You will be responsible for building processes, managing shift coverage, and developing a team of security analysts who investigate and respond to incidents 24/7/365.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal processes to increase productivity and reduce analyst burnout across global operations
• Manage local and global shift coverage to maintain continuous 24/7 security operations throughout the year
• Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with analysts to provide feedback, gather input, and support career progression
• Contribute to training program development in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation
• Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize capabilities that augment analyst effectiveness
• Maintain quality assurance standards for your designated region
• Partner with Support to create streamlined workflows for partner and customer analysis requests
• Strengthen processes and relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams
• Provide technical leadership and ensure team alignment with organizational mission and objectives
• Develop and track Objectives and Key Results for SOC initiatives
• Help operationalize new technologies and services
• Participate in public speaking engagements at webinars and industry events

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering
• 5+ years as a Security Analyst in a global 24x7 security operations center with focus on Windows forensics
• 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role, preferably within an MSSP, MDR provider, or Incident Response service
• Active engagement in the information security community through conferences or public contributions
• Commitment to staying current on threat actor tradecraft, detection techniques, and security operations concepts
• Ability to identify workflows and create detailed process diagrams and operating procedures
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to stakeholders of varying backgrounds
• Demonstrated experience leading initiatives requiring delegation and accountability
• Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science concepts

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €115,200 to €133,000 base plus bonus and equity.
