Your Responsibilities
- Conduct border patrol operations including surveillance, reconnaissance, and monitoring of assigned areas in Montana and Jefferson County
- Detect, apprehend, and process individuals attempting unauthorized entry
- Inspect vehicles, cargo, and persons at ports of entry and remote locations
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation of enforcement actions
- Operate detection equipment, vehicles, and communications systems
- Respond to alarms, alerts, and emergency situations with appropriate law enforcement action
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other law enforcement agencies
- Maintain required physical fitness and readiness standards throughout your tenure
Who We're Looking For
- U.S. citizen between 18 and 40 years old
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Correctable vision and hearing within federal standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Clean background free of felony convictions and significant misdemeanors
- Demonstrated physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous law enforcement duties
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
- Willingness to relocate and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
