Girls Assistant Lacrosse Coach – Sun Valley

Join Penn-Delco as a Girls Assistant Lacrosse Coach for the Sun Valley program in Aston, Delaware County. In this part-time role, you'll mentor student-athletes, help develop competitive lacrosse fundamentals, and contribute to building a program culture that values skill development, teamwork, and athletic excellence.

Role Overview

As a Girls Assistant Lacrosse Coach, you'll work collaboratively with the head coach to advance the Sun Valley lacrosse program. You'll take on key responsibilities in on-field instruction, player development, and creating a positive, competitive environment where female student-athletes thrive both athletically and personally.

Core Duties

• Plan and execute practice sessions that emphasize fundamental lacrosse skills, game strategy, and athlete conditioning
• Provide individualized coaching to players, focusing on technique refinement, positioning, and tactical understanding
• Support recruitment initiatives and help cultivate a strong team culture built on respect and excellence
• Contribute to game preparation strategies and deliver in-game coaching support during competitions
• Track and document player progress, development metrics, and program activities
• Model professional conduct and athletic integrity as a mentor to student-athletes

What You Bring

• Current Pennsylvania Act 34, 115, and 151 background clearances (required)
• Demonstrated experience playing or coaching lacrosse at competitive levels
• Deep knowledge of girls' lacrosse rules, offensive and defensive strategy, and coaching best practices
• Excellent communication and motivational abilities
• Genuine commitment to youth athletic development, safety, and long-term player growth
• Availability to accommodate practice schedules, games, and team events
