Position Summary
As a Credit Analyst at First National Bank, you'll evaluate loan applications and support our underwriting process through detailed financial analysis. Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation to evaluate borrower credit strength
- Prepare detailed credit analyses and underwriting recommendations for loan approval
- Maintain organized, accurate credit files in compliance with banking standards and regulations
- Operate Sageworks/Abrigo platforms to record analysis, generate reports, and manage credit data
- Communicate credit findings and lending decisions to internal teams and loan customers
- Support loan officers and management by ensuring complete documentation and thorough credit review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banking
- Minimum 3 years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience
- Proficiency with Sageworks/Abrigo credit analysis software
- Skilled with Microsoft Office and standard business software applications
- Ability to read, interpret, and summarize financial statements and credit information
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and file management abilities
