About the Role

As Director of Social & Community Management, you'll own the strategy and execution of Church's Chicken's organic social media presence, content development, and community engagement efforts. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines strategic vision with day-to-day tactical management, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy, Media & Activation. You'll work at the intersection of brand building, customer engagement, and community development for one of America's leading quick-service chicken restaurant brands.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media and community engagement strategies that drive brand awareness and customer loyalty
  • Create and oversee organic content calendars across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement
  • Build and nurture an active, engaged community around the Church's Chicken brand through genuine interaction and responsive community management
  • Lead content creation initiatives that reflect brand voice, values, and seasonal campaigns while staying current with social trends
  • Manage team performance, project timelines, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, brand, and franchise operations teams
  • Monitor social listening insights, community feedback, and engagement metrics to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Represent Church's Chicken in community partnerships and brand collaborations that strengthen local and national presence

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of social media and community management experience, with at least 3 years in a director-level or equivalent leadership role
  • Proven expertise building and managing authentic online communities at scale
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, organic reach strategies, and content performance analytics
  • Strong creative sensibility combined with data-driven decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives
  • Experience in the foodservice, quick-service restaurant, or consumer brand industry is strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience managing teams and mentoring marketing professionals
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
