About the Role

As a Cook at Church's Chicken, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, responsible for preparing and cooking food products to exact specifications and quality standards. Working under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager, you'll execute all cooking tasks according to Church's Operating Standards Manual while maintaining the speed, consistency, and cleanliness that our customers expect.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook chicken and complementary menu items according to company recipes and quality standards
• Operate fryers, grills, ovens, and other cooking equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean, organized kitchen station
• Monitor cooking times and food temperatures to ensure every order meets quality specifications
• Receive and execute orders from shift managers and kitchen leadership
• Stock and organize cooking stations with necessary ingredients and supplies
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timing and order flow
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely, orderly manner during your scheduled shifts

What We're Looking For

• Experience working as a cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment (preferred)
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures precisely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends as needed
