Bridgeprep Academy, Inc. is hiring a full-time Custodian for the 2026–2027 school year in Saint Cloud, Osceola County. We're looking for a dedicated professional to maintain our campus facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
About This Position
As a Custodian at Bridgeprep Academy, you'll play a vital role in creating and sustaining a well-maintained, safe learning space for our students and staff. Your work directly supports the school's educational mission by ensuring the facility remains clean, organized, and properly maintained. This full-time position is key to our operational success and commitment to providing students with a high-quality campus environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily cleaning and maintenance tasks across classrooms, hallways, common areas, and grounds
- Complete assigned work orders promptly, with priority projects finished within 48 hours
- Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them to management
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other facilities according to established protocols
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment and supplies responsibly
- Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain grounds as needed
- Respond to urgent facility needs and emergency cleanup situations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical capability to perform custodial duties, including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Ability to meet proficiency standards on facility audits and cleanliness rubrics
- Willingness to work collaboratively with school staff and administration
