About the Role

This full-time production position plays a vital role in our casting operations at our Rock Island facility. You'll work alongside experienced team members, supporting daily casting processes and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. In this hands-on role, you'll gain valuable experience in aluminum manufacturing while contributing directly to Novelis' commitment to sustainable innovation and customer excellence across the aerospace, automotive, beverage packaging, and specialty markets.

Core Duties

• Support casting operations and assist with material preparation for production runs
• Monitor casting equipment and maintain work stations to ensure proper function
• Support quality control and product inspection processes
• Handle, organize, and track materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures, protocols, and company guidelines
• Respond to production team needs and support operational requests
• Report issues and safety concerns to supervisors promptly
