Tonto Rim Prep Cook

We're hiring a Tonto Rim Prep Cook at Trademark Camping in Payson, Gila County, to support our kitchen team in preparing fresh ingredients and delivering quality meals for our guests. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Payson location, reporting to the Food Service Manager.

The Opportunity

Your role as a Tonto Rim Prep Cook is central to Trademark Camping's culinary operations in Payson, Gila County. You'll work in a dynamic kitchen environment where attention to detail, food safety, and teamwork directly impact guest satisfaction. From preparing fresh produce to organizing prep stations, you'll contribute to every meal that serves our community and visiting guests throughout the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, proteins, and other components for meal service
• Maintain clean and organized prep stations, work surfaces, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety standards
• Support meal production by assembling prepped components and assisting kitchen staff during service
• Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and communicating supply needs to the Food Service Manager
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and meet service timelines

• Basic knife skills and comfort using standard kitchen equipment safely
• Ability to follow recipes, respect portion controls, and adhere to food safety guidelines
• Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive kitchen tasks
• Strong organizational abilities and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a collaborative team-oriented approach
• Previous food preparation or kitchen experience is helpful but not required
