About the Role
As a Service Technician with Greystar Management Services in Denver, you'll be the backbone of our property's operational excellence. Working in a full-time position, you'll respond to maintenance requests, diagnose equipment issues, and perform both routine and emergency repairs across our residential community. Your work ensures residents enjoy safe, comfortable living spaces and helps us maintain our high standards for institutional-quality rental housing.
What You'll Do
- Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests from residents and staff
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Execute repairs safely, following all building codes and company protocols
- Document all work orders, materials used, and hours spent in our management system
- Communicate professionally with residents regarding repair timelines and access requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage tools and equipment responsibly
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar hands-on maintenance role
- Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and ability to respond to urgent calls when needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Professional communication and customer service mindset
- Willingness to complete certifications or trainings as required
