As a Maintenance Technician at Prose New Hope, you'll be the hands-on problem solver who keeps a thriving residential community running smoothly. This on-site, full-time position in Raleigh, Wake County puts you at the heart of resident satisfaction, ensuring homes and shared spaces stay safe, comfortable, and well maintained day in and day out.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete service requests for apartment homes promptly, covering routine repairs and general upkeep across the property.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents through turn work, including cleaning, painting touch-ups, and repairs.
- Support preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment and common areas in reliable working order.
- Help maintain the appearance and safety of grounds, amenities, and community facilities.
- Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance needs as required by the role.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a customer-focused, dependable attitude.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Raleigh, Wake County, including possible on-call rotation.
