Turn Assistant- The Parlor (Student Living)

Join Greystar Management Services as a Turn Assistant at The Parlor, our premier student living community in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas. This full-time position is essential to our mission of providing exceptional residential experiences for students.

About the Role

As a Turn Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our student housing operations. In this role, you'll support the critical process of preparing and maintaining residential units for new residents, ensuring each space meets our high standards for cleanliness, functionality, and comfort. You'll work closely with our leasing and resident services teams to create positive first impressions and smooth transitions.

What You'll Do

• Manage apartment walkthroughs and inspections with incoming residents
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes to maintain smooth transitions
• Prepare units for occupancy by conducting quality checks and coordinating repairs
• Document unit conditions and maintenance needs with attention to detail
• Assist with resident orientation and answer questions about community amenities
• Support administrative tasks for the leasing office
• Respond promptly to maintenance concerns and resident service requests
• Maintain organized records and checklists for unit turnover tracking

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant student housing or hospitality experience valued
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with diverse residents
• Detail-oriented approach to inspections and quality assurance
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule availability, including possible weekend or evening hours
• Reliable transportation for the San Marcos area
• Positive, professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset
