Maintenance Technician – West Edge

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep West Edge running smoothly. You'll be the go-to professional for a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and facility improvements that keep our community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. This role is hands-on, varied, and essential to resident satisfaction and property operations.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, and infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and extend asset life
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests, including repairs to plumbing, HVAC, electrical fixtures, and appliances
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine whether repairs or replacement are needed
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each task
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized work is required
• Perform grounds maintenance, landscaping support, and exterior facility upkeep
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents and management about project timelines and status

What We're Looking For

• Experience in apartment, commercial, or residential property maintenance
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn new systems and take on diverse maintenance responsibilities
