As a full-time Dishwasher at New Pond Village, you'll perform an essential function in our dining operations and community cleanliness standards. Your work directly supports the health and well-being of our residents by ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health codes and safety protocols.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Spray, sort, and load dishes, glasses, and flatware into automated washers
- Hand-wash delicate china, glassware, and kitchen equipment when needed
- Unload and properly organize cleaned and sanitized items for storage
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the dish room throughout your shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards consistently
- Assist with other kitchen duties as directed by management
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
