Benchmark Senior Living in Rye, Rockingham County is seeking full-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our award-winning memory care community on the Seacoast. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful care to seniors in a warm, supportive environment as we expand with 70 new assisted living apartments.
About the Role
As a Home Health Aide at our Rye location, you'll be a trusted member of our care team, supporting residents' daily needs and helping them maintain dignity and independence. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling across three shifts:
- Days: 6am–2pm
- Evenings: 2pm–10pm
- Nights: 10pm–6am
Compensation ranges from $20–$21.25 per hour, depending on experience.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring using proper techniques and body mechanics
- Monitor and report changes in resident health, mood, or behavior to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living spaces
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Support residents' independence and respect their dignity in all interactions
What We're Looking For
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) certification or equivalent caregiving experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with resident mobility and care tasks throughout your shift
- Reliability, compassion, and patience with older adults
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team
