About the Role
As an Adjunct Faculty member at William Paterson University, you'll deliver engaging instruction across management, marketing, and professional sales disciplines. This part-time position offers the opportunity to shape emerging business professionals through direct classroom instruction, while maintaining the flexibility that part-time academic work provides.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in management, marketing, and professional sales
- Develop course materials and curriculum aligned with department standards and learning outcomes
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams
- Maintain regular office hours and provide mentorship to students
- Collaborate with full-time faculty and contribute to departmental initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in your teaching areas
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Demonstrated teaching experience or expertise in management, marketing, and/or professional sales
- Strong professional background in business, preferably in management or sales environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage diverse learners and foster inclusive classroom discussions
- Commitment to student success and ongoing professional development
