About the Role
As Principal Director of Tolling Industry Management Consulting, you'll drive our most significant client engagements across the North American tolling sector. You'll own strategic consulting work spanning tolling operations modernization, technology infrastructure advancement, revenue optimization, customer experience transformation, and organizational change. This role uniquely blends hands-on consulting delivery with thought leadership and business development within the tolling management consulting market.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor senior consulting teams through comprehensive tolling infrastructure and operations engagements
- Develop strategic business cases and digital transformation roadmaps for state DOTs and regional tolling authorities
- Advise executive leadership on tolling technology modernization, interoperability standards, and customer payment systems innovation
- Manage complex, long-term client relationships with public agencies and private tolling operators
- Pursue and win new business opportunities in the tolling management consulting market
- Lead organizational and operational change initiatives across tolling agencies
- Establish thought leadership in tolling industry best practices, regulatory trends, and emerging solutions
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of progressive consulting or tolling industry experience, including leadership of complex strategic engagements
- Proven track record leading teams and managing executive-level client relationships
- Deep expertise in tolling operations, regulatory frameworks, systems architecture, and business models across public and private sectors
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and change management capabilities
- Advanced degree preferred; MBA or equivalent professional experience in transportation or infrastructure consulting valued
