SAP Product Costing Senior Manager – Retail

Accenture is seeking a SAP Product Costing Senior Manager - Retail to join its team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County on a full‑time basis.

About the Role

In this position you will lead the design and implementation of product costing solutions within SAP for retail clients. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate complex costing requirements into scalable system configurations, ensuring accurate cost calculations that support pricing, margin analysis, and financial reporting. The role involves guiding a team of consultants, driving best‑practice methodology, and staying current with SAP retail innovations to deliver measurable value.

What You'll Do

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of SAP Product Costing modules for retail implementations, from blueprint through go‑live and hypercare.
• Conduct workshops with finance, merchandising, and supply chain teams to gather costing rules, valuation methods, and reporting needs.
• Configure product costing components such as material ledger, actual costing, standard cost estimates, and variance analysis within SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
• Develop test scripts, lead user acceptance testing, and provide training to ensure smooth adoption by client users.
• Monitor project timelines, manage risks, and escalate issues promptly to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge through internal enablement sessions, and contribute to the growth of Accenture’s SAP Retail practice.
• Keep abreast of SAP product updates, industry trends, and emerging costing methodologies to recommend continuous improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading SAP Product Costing projects in the retail or consumer goods sector, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of retail costing concepts, including actual costing, standard costing, product cost collectors, and margin analysis.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM, FI‑CO, and integrated processes that impact product costing.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, document requirements, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience consulting at the manager or senior manager level.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, supply chain, or a related field; SAP certification in Product Costing is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites within the region as needed.
