About the Role
Gray Media is seeking an experienced Sports Multimedia Journalist and Anchor to lead our sports coverage across television and digital channels. This is a hands-on position where you'll craft stories that matter to our community while maintaining the high standards our audience expects from top-rated local television stations.
What You'll Do
- Report, shoot, edit, and produce original sports content for broadcast and streaming platforms
- Anchor sports segments and special programming with professionalism and on-camera presence
- Cover local and regional sports events, teams, and storylines that resonate with viewers
- Develop engaging social media content and manage sports coverage across digital platforms
- Collaborate with newsroom teams to integrate sports into broader news narratives
- Maintain multimedia journalism skills across field reporting and studio anchoring
- Contribute to station branding and community engagement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a sports reporter, anchor, or multimedia journalist
