About the Role

As a Producer/Multimedia Journalist in our morning newsroom, you'll blend production expertise with reporting skills to create compelling morning content. This role combines the fast-paced demands of live television production with on-the-ground reporting responsibilities, making you a critical part of our local news team's daily operation.

What You'll Do

• Produce and shape the morning news broadcast, managing story selection, rundowns, and editorial decisions
• Report and gather news content across multimedia platforms—breaking stories, developing investigative pieces, and conducting interviews
• Write clean, accurate copy for broadcast and digital channels
• Coordinate with reporters, anchors, and technical staff to execute shows smoothly
• Monitor breaking news developments and adapt coverage in real time
• Build and maintain community relationships to generate story ideas and exclusive content
• Manage social media content and audience engagement across platforms
• Edit video and graphics to deadline

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in television news production or multimedia journalism
• Proficiency in newsroom production software and content management systems
• Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgment
