About the Role

As a Principal Aeronautical Engineer focused on Integration and Test, you'll own the strategy and execution of complex system validation activities from ground testing through flight operations. You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure that cutting-edge aerospace systems meet rigorous performance, safety, and mission requirements before deployment. Your expertise in test methodology, systems architecture, and aeronautical engineering will be central to success in this role.

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee comprehensive integration and test strategies for advanced aerospace systems
• Lead flight test planning, instrumentation, and data acquisition activities
• Coordinate systems integration across avionics, structures, propulsion, and flight control disciplines
• Verify compliance with technical requirements and regulatory standards
• Mentor junior engineers and guide multi-disciplinary teams through validation campaigns
• Analyze test data, identify root causes, and recommend design improvements
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 10+ years of professional aerospace or defense engineering experience, with substantial focus on systems integration and test
• Demonstrated expertise in flight test planning, instrumentation, and data analysis
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, systems engineering, and test methodology
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Excellent technical communication and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time for on-site test activities and customer engagement
