As Network Administrator-SR, you'll oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role demands hands-on technical expertise, security awareness, and a commitment to keeping our systems running smoothly and securely. You'll work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama, directly with our infrastructure team and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity systems
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure uptime, speed, and reliability
- Design and deploy security protocols and access controls to protect network assets and data
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, outages, and performance problems
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to keep infrastructure current and secure
- Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and regulatory requirements
- Document network configurations and maintain detailed records of infrastructure changes
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and infrastructure management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree)
- Active SECRET security clearance
- DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certificate
- Must be available to work onsite at our Huntsville, Alabama facility
- Demonstrated expertise with routing, switching, firewall, and LAN/WAN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring and management platforms
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
