Inland Southern California United Way is hiring a Program Coordinator (Coordinator I) for a full-time, permanent position in Box Springs, Riverside County. You'll support peer case coordination services through the Behavioral Services Crisis Consortium, helping connect individuals with essential resources and behavioral health support.
Role Overview
This exempt position offers a wage of $25.00–$33.00 per hour, payable bi-weekly, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 403(b) retirement, sick leave, accrued vacation, and a 32-hour workweek. Working within our Community Impact division and reporting to a Program Supervisor or Manager, you'll coordinate peer case management services, maintain program records, and help strengthen community response to behavioral health needs across Riverside County.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate peer case management activities and provide participant follow-up support
- Connect individuals with community resources, social services, and behavioral health programs
- Document case information and maintain accurate program records in compliance with organizational standards
- Collaborate with program staff, supervisors, and external service providers to support client outcomes
- Contribute to team meetings and participate in program quality and efficiency improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; professional or volunteer experience in social services preferred
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfort using computer systems and data entry tools
- Commitment to supporting diverse populations and advancing behavioral health initiatives
