Insurance Loss Control Surveyor

Davies Risk Services is hiring a full-time Insurance Loss Control Surveyor to serve the Alpine Forest and Kern County area. In this role, you'll conduct property inspections that help insurers and property owners assess and manage risk across residential and commercial portfolios.

Role Overview

As an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor, you're a frontline professional responsible for thorough property assessments. Your inspections and documentation become critical data points for risk underwriting and management decisions. This full-time position combines fieldwork, observation, and attention to detail to deliver the comprehensive property surveys that drive informed insurance decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute detailed property inspections on residential and commercial buildings
• Photograph property exteriors, interiors, systems, and structural features
• Document property conditions, maintenance status, and hazards observed
• Gather key information such as property age, construction type, and protective systems
• Prepare clear, accurate inspection reports from field notes and images
• Maintain professional communication with property owners and insurance clients

Who We're Looking For

• Experience conducting property inspections or insurance surveys
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Professional demeanor and ability to work with diverse clients
• Capacity to work independently and manage field schedules
• Familiarity with residential and commercial property construction preferred
