Davies Risk Services is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor for part-time work evaluating residential and commercial properties in Milton, Cabell County. As a loss control surveyor, you'll conduct on-site property inspections that inform insurance underwriting and risk assessment decisions.
About the Role
This is a flexible, part-time position with Davies Risk Services performing property condition surveys across residential and commercial real estate in the Milton area. Working as an independent contractor, you'll play a key role in helping insurance professionals assess property risk and eligibility for coverage.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties
- Document property conditions through detailed photography and visual assessment
- Gather and record accurate property information, including age, construction, systems, and maintenance history
- Evaluate property condition, structural integrity, and potential risk factors
- Prepare clear, thorough inspection reports for insurance underwriting review
- Communicate professional findings and recommendations to Davies Risk Services
