Registered Nurse Charge (RN) – Cardiac

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge (RN) – Cardiac for our cardiac unit in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. As a Clinical Lead in this full-time position, you'll coordinate patient care, direct clinical operations, and mentor nursing staff on assigned shifts, bringing leadership expertise to critical cardiac nursing care.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse Charge (RN) – Cardiac position is a clinical leadership role that supports the nurse manager and director in delivering exceptional, evidence-based patient care on the cardiac unit. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a collaborative team environment while maintaining direct clinical involvement in patient care and outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and direct patient care delivery and activities on the assigned cardiac unit shift
• Assist the nurse manager and director in evaluating patient outcomes, unit performance, and staff effectiveness
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, modeling professional nursing standards and best practices in cardiac care
• Manage throughput and workflow to optimize patient safety and operational efficiency
• Apply nursing process knowledge and professional standards in clinical decision-making and care coordination
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care for cardiac patients
• Monitor unit activities and staff performance, providing constructive feedback and developmental guidance

What We're Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Current clinical experience in cardiac nursing or related acute-care specialty
• Demonstrated leadership ability and mentoring experience with nursing staff
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and professional nursing standards of practice
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining patient-centered, compassionate care
