This is a full-time position for an attorney ready to build a meaningful practice representing individuals and businesses in personal injury matters.
About the Role
As a Personal Injury Associate, you'll work alongside experienced attorneys to develop and litigate personal injury cases. You'll have the opportunity to build client relationships from initial consultation through resolution while handling the legal strategy and execution that complex injury claims demand. This role combines courtroom advocacy, client counseling, and strategic legal work in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Represent clients in personal injury claims, from initial intake through settlement or trial
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather facts and build case strategy
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings
- Manage case timelines, deadlines, and client communications
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and legal analysis
- Develop expertise in Oregon personal injury law and civil procedure
What We're Looking For
- Licensed to practice law in Oregon (or eligible for bar admission)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client service
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
- Law school graduate with knowledge of civil litigation
