Aya Healthcare is hiring a Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at Fort Shafter in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a full-time contract position offering $2,422 to $2,651 per week, with a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.

Core Duties

• Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based physical therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and functional goals
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and clinical observations in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform range-of-motion assessments, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise instruction
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and at-home exercise programs

Requirements

• Active PT license in the state of Hawaii (or ability to obtain one immediately)
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher; Master's or DPT preferred
• Demonstrated experience in clinical physical therapy practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Professional demeanor and commitment to evidence-based practice
