About the Role
Aya Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an immediate travel contract placement in Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County. This full-time position starts July 27, 2026, and offers evening shift work over an 8-week contract period. As a Travel MRI Tech, you'll operate advanced magnetic resonance imaging equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Position patients and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines for MRI operations
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT certification as an MRI Technologist or equivalent state licensure
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on MRI experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI protocols, safety standards, and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams
- Valid professional credentials and ability to pass background screening
- Flexibility to adapt to evening shift schedules
