About the Role

Join a dynamic team at a Las Cruces healthcare facility where your expertise directly impacts patient diagnostics and care. This travel position features a rotating schedule of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, providing predictable hours and the flexibility that travel healthcare professionals seek. Your assignment runs for 13 weeks with a confirmed start date, allowing you to plan your healthcare career trajectory with confidence.

What You'll Do

• Operate MRI scanners to capture diagnostic images following established protocols and safety guidelines
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain scanning processes, and ensure comfort and compliance
• Position patients and equipment to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy
• Monitor patient vitals and respond appropriately to patient needs during scans
• Maintain detailed imaging records and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support diagnostic excellence
• Ensure MRI equipment functions safely and troubleshoot routine technical issues

What We're Looking For

• Current ARRT certification in MRI (American Registry for Radiologic Technologists)
• Active state license as an MRI Technologist in New Mexico
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on MRI experience
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail in imaging protocols
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate care approach
• Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to facility-specific workflows
• Current BLS certification (CPR) preferred
