About the Role
Join our healthcare staffing network as a CT Technologist in Bergen County. You'll operate advanced computed tomography imaging equipment, delivering high-quality diagnostic scans that support patient care and clinical decision-making. This night shift position—working five 8-hour shifts per week—offers the schedule flexibility many travel healthcare professionals seek, with a confirmed start date of July 20, 2026.
What You'll Do
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the imaging process and addressing concerns
- Position patients correctly and operate CT scanners following established protocols
- Ensure appropriate use of contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Document procedures accurately and communicate findings to the radiology team
- Maintain imaging equipment in proper working condition and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure efficient patient flow
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT certification in CT or equivalent state licensure
- Proven experience as a CT technologist in a hospital or imaging center
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols, anatomy, and radiation safety standards
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently during overnight hours
- Detail-oriented approach to quality imaging and accurate documentation
