Travel Nurse RN – ER/Trauma – $2,535 per week in Hermiston, OR

TravelNurseSource is seeking a Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma for a full‑time assignment in Hermiston, Umatilla County, Oregon, offering $2,535 per week.

About the Role

This 9‑week travel contract begins on October 1, 2025 and places you in an emergency department setting where you will work 8‑hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours each week. The position is partnered with Triage Staffing to provide seamless support throughout your assignment.

What You'll Do

• Perform rapid triage and initial assessment of patients presenting with acute injuries or medical emergencies
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products according to physician orders and emergency protocols
• Monitor vital signs, intervene for deteriorating conditions, and assist with resuscitative efforts
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to develop and execute care plans
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during high‑stress situations
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in the ER environment
• Participate in shift handoffs, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental training as needed

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license in good standing (compact license or Oregon eligibility preferred)
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in an emergency department or trauma center
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS or TNCC strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑acuity settings while maintaining clinical excellence
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes and acuity levels
