ABA Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist – Part-Time (Malverne, NY – Clinic-Based)

Achievement Behavior Services is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist for clinic-based work in Malverne, Nassau County, NY, supporting children on the autism spectrum through structured, evidence-driven care.

About the Role

As an ABA Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist in Malverne, NY, you will deliver one-on-one applied behavior analysis therapy inside our center, helping students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) build communication, social, and daily-living skills. You will work hands-on with each learner while following individualized treatment plans developed by our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, center-based ABA therapy to children diagnosed with ASD.
• Carry out individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by supervising clinicians.
• Track session data accurately and report on each learner's progress.
• Apply positive reinforcement and prompting strategies to encourage skill acquisition.
• Partner with BCBAs and the wider care team to adjust goals and techniques as students grow.
• Maintain a safe, encouraging, and consistent learning environment in the clinic.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with children with autism and developmental needs.
• Reliable, patient, and able to follow structured clinical protocols.
• Strong observation and documentation skills for recording session data.
• Willingness to be trained in or already holding Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials.
• Ability to commute to and work on-site at the Malverne, Nassau County clinic.
