Join Oakwood Care Center as a full-time CNA-I (GNA) in Middle River, Baltimore County, and deliver hands-on care to residents in our long-term care and skilled nursing community.

About the Role

We're hiring a dedicated nursing assistant to provide direct support to our residents and clinical staff. Choose from day, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts that fit your schedule. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your compassion and reliability are essential to daily operations.

What You'll Do

  • Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene needs
  • Help residents with toileting, catheter care, and incontinence management
  • Monitor and record vital signs; report changes to nursing staff immediately
  • Support safe transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics and equipment
  • Keep resident rooms and common spaces clean and comfortable
  • Communicate with residents and families with respect and patience
  • Follow infection prevention protocols and maintain resident privacy
  • Answer call lights and respond to resident requests promptly

What We're Looking For

  • Current CNA-I (GNA) certification or eligibility to obtain it
  • Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents regularly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine compassion for older adults and commitment to dignity and respect
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor
  • Team-focused mindset and willingness to support colleagues

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive pay of $19.00–$23.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials available. Qualified candidates can receive a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 (limited-time offer). Daily pay access provides added financial flexibility.
