This 8-week contract role offers competitive compensation ranging from $2,059 to $2,614 per week, with positions available to start immediately.

About the Role

You'll serve as a vital member of the surgical team in a patient-centered operating room environment. This circulating nurse position requires managing room operations, coordinating with surgical staff, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout each procedure. Working through Envista Resources' partnership network, you'll gain experience in a modern medical facility while maintaining the highest standards of surgical excellence and patient care.

What You'll Do

• Prepare the operating room with necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before each case
• Maintain accurate count and inventory of all sponges, needles, and instruments throughout procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, fluid intake, and output during surgery
• Serve as the primary communication liaison between the surgical team and other hospital departments
• Assist with patient positioning to maintain proper alignment and comfort during procedures
• Implement strict aseptic techniques to prevent surgical site infections
• Respond to emergencies and unexpected complications with calm professionalism
• Provide compassionate post-operative monitoring and immediate patient support

What We're Looking For

• Valid California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of documented OR circulating experience
• Demonstrated expertise in surgical procedures and operating room protocols
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse surgical teams
• Detail-oriented approach to patient safety and medical documentation
• Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced surgical environments
