Procurement Analyst

Prime System Solutions is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This is a full-time position for a detail-oriented professional ready to optimise our supply chain and purchasing operations.

Position Summary

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in managing vendor relationships, analysing procurement data, and identifying cost savings opportunities across our organisation. You will support the procurement function by researching suppliers, evaluating proposals, and ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies. Your work will directly contribute to improving efficiency and reducing expenditure whilst maintaining quality standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and recommend qualified suppliers for various goods and services
• Analyse pricing structures, contracts, and supplier performance metrics
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor order fulfilment and delivery schedules
• Maintain procurement records, maintain supplier databases, and ensure documentation accuracy
• Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favourable delivery terms
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and specifications
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and process improvements
• Monitor market trends and supply chain developments relevant to procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, commerce, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles (ideally 2+ years)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets, and data management systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
