As a Med/Surg Travel Nurse RN, you'll deliver hands-on bedside care to a diverse patient population while bringing your clinical expertise to a respected healthcare facility through Epic Travel Staffing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients during night-shift hours.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and the broader care team to coordinate treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on recovery, discharge, and ongoing care needs.
- Uphold all facility protocols, safety standards, and infection-control practices.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Georgia.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) setting.
- Comfort working night shifts and adapting quickly to a new facility as a travel nurse.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Current certifications as required for the assignment (such as BLS).
