Join ICF as a QA/QC Inspection Specialist for our Residential Energy Program, based in Newark. About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented professional for a full-time position on our residential energy efficiency inspection team in Newark, New Jersey. You'll perform comprehensive quality assurance and quality control inspections across installation sites, document findings, coordinate with installation teams, and maintain the high standards our customers depend on.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough QA/QC inspections of residential energy efficiency installations and system upgrades
- Document inspection results and prepare comprehensive compliance reports
- Verify installations meet applicable building codes, industry standards, and program requirements
- Communicate inspection findings with installation teams and project supervisors
- Identify quality trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain detailed inspection records and coordinate scheduling
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance standards
- Knowledge of residential building science, energy efficiency systems, or construction practices
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and work orders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to New Jersey or current residency in the Newark area
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for multiple job sites
