About the Role

As a Health & Beauty Team Associate, you will work directly with the department’s products, helping customers find what they need and maintaining an inviting shopping environment. The role includes receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and applying pricing or promotional changes as directed. You’ll also collaborate with fellow associates to keep the area clean, safe, and compliant with company standards.

What You'll Do

• Unload and verify health and beauty merchandise against purchase orders.
• Stock shelves, end caps, and displays according to planograms and sales floor guidelines.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and monitor expiration dates.
• Assist shoppers by locating products, answering basic questions, and providing courteous service.
• Perform regular price checks, apply clearance tags, and update promotional signage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department, including sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing fixtures.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and adherence to spill‑response protocols.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with loss‑prevention initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory and processing transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining visual standards.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliability and a willingness to learn Walmart’s specific processes for health and beauty merchandise.

The starting hourly wage for this position ranges from $14 to $27, with the actual rate meeting or exceeding the local minimum wage. Additional earnings may include quarterly or annual performance incentives and shift‑ or facility‑based premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
