About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. As a Travel Nurse RN in our Pre-Op/Post-Op/Same Day Surgery program, you'll deliver compassionate patient care during critical transitions in the surgical patient journey. Based in Atlanta, Fulton County, this full-time position offers a 13-week assignment that combines professional growth with the flexibility travel nursing provides.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and assess patients in pre-operative settings, ensuring readiness for surgery and managing pre-procedure anxiety
• Provide post-operative recovery nursing care, including pain management, vital sign monitoring, and discharge preparation
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment and monitoring devices
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and patients to ensure safe transitions through all phases of care
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations
• Support same-day surgery protocols and contribute to positive patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license in Georgia
• Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing, PACU, or surgical nursing environments
